| Yes. Glow products are sealed in a plastic tube. We DO NOT recommend children under the age of 5 using glow sticks except under adult supervision. We also warn children against excessively bending and stressing the tube as breakage will eventually occur causing the glow liquid to leak. Whilst non-toxic, the contents can stain. Please read the packaging, or call us if you have any concerns. |
| ReadySetGlow products will generally last from 8-12 hours.
The glow item can be stored in the freezer which will allow you to use it again another night, but, remember, it will not
glow as brightly on the second night. Our SUPER Glow range are much brighter than normal glowsticks. They will also last a second evening if stored in the freezer overnight. |
| The easiest way to answer this is to ask whether you have ever heard of a MSDS. MSDS stands for Material Safety Data Sheet. Basically an MSDS lists all the ingredients that are inside the tube. You will see chemical names like hydrogen peroxide (that's right - the same as the stuff you can bleach your hair with). The important thing to note is that all our glow sticks are phthalate free. This is an important question to ask when considering purchases from other suppliers. If you want our MSDS, please contact us via our feedback form. |
| The simple and honest answer is NO.
The reason is simple. Glow sticks are fragile. We take great care in packing and sending our glow items. When they leave us, we know that they have been stored properly and leave in peak condition. If we took returns, we have no idea whether they have been dropped, left in the back of a car on a hot day etc etc. If we sent returned goods to you (the next customer), who gets the blame if the product doesn't work? We accept FULL RESPONSIBILITY for our products. Also note that if you do have left-overs, if stored in a cool dry place, they are good for next event. |
Do we offer consignment stock?
| Sorry... no consignment stock is available. Be careful if others offer consignment stock that it is not priced so expensively that it would be cheaper to have a little left over |
How do I activate a glow stick?
| It's really quite easy. By gently bending the tube in the middle... ![]() you will break the inner glass tube which will start the reaction which produces the light. Please note that for longer items such as necklaces, there are several tubes inside, so, you will need to run your thumb along the length of the tube in order to activate all the sections. |
